The Performance, Tuning and Modified Show took place on the 10th May 2009, and what a gloriously sunny day of big BHP it was. With 6 modified-car race classes and the RWYB competition track, the event attracted some of Europe's fastest cars, including the fastest front wheel drive cars in Europe, the fastest road-legal car in Europe, the fastest Japanese cars in Europe and the fastest rotary engined cars in Europe.

In the Run What Ya Brung competition, which ran over two days, the following cars came out victorious after a hard-fought battle on a hot and sticky dragstrip:

The Show & Go competition was also open to the public, allowing anyone taking part in the Run What Ya Brung the chance to also score points for the appearance of their car. Once each car had taken a turn on the track, they headed to the show paddock for judging. The following cars topped the tables, with a very close top-3:

Away from the dragstrip, the drift track was kept smokin' with endless lateral g-force, and in the afternoon, the handling track had an entertaining mix of contenders handbreak-turning their way to a very close-fought competition. Philip Bowles took the trophy at 4pm with an amazing time of just 22.35s. The full table is on the Handling page.

Thanks to everyone who came along to the PTM Show, we hope you had a great day in the sun at the Pod. See you back at the track soon!
